Monkeys with Typewriters

Remember when people used to speculate that if you put 1,000 moneys in a room with typewriters that they would eventually write Hamlet?
There's a modern version of that: AI, Artificial Intelligence is writing novels. Just get the formula and insert different characters and nouns and verbs and the computer spits out a novel.
It reminds me of the old game: Mad Libs, were you would call out a verb, an adjective, a noun, and the moderator of the game would fill in the blanks with usually a silly result. It was fun.
Some people in the publishing business are promoting AI written novels. I hope they fail.
