Buying Plywood

It's just about hurricane season. The nightly news shows always show people frantically buying plywood and nailing the panels over the windows and doors on their homes. This is one of the set pieces in the news reports, along with for the last year, vaccine bottles going down the conveyor belt, and people getting inoculated. There are other, sadder stories that are unfortunately repeated just about every night. They could pretty much just show the same news over and over.

Sometimes I skip the news and just watch dogs surfing on YouTube.
